The Art Department was proud to host its annual showcase event, Arts Alive, a vibrant celebration of the imagination, dedication and sheer talent of our GCSE and A Level students. Held in the evening, the event transformed Highfields into a stunning gallery space, bursting with colour, texture and creativity.
Guests were treated to an impressive and diverse array of student work across multiple disciplines, including Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics, Textiles, Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media and Glass. Each piece reflected not only technical skill but also the individual voice of the artist behind it, with themes ranging from the deeply personal to the socially conscious.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for family, friends, staff, and members of the wider school community to see first-hand the exceptional standard of work produced by our young artists.
As always, Arts Alive was more than just an exhibition—it was a celebration of the arts and the creative spirit that runs through Highfields. A huge well done to all the students involved, and a special thank you to the Art Department for curating such an inspiring event.
