You’re Welcome - Lower School stuns with production of Moana Jr

Highfields came back after half term with a bang as our Lower School students took to the stage for a spectacular production of Moana Jr.

It was an unforgettable week, filled with energy, colour and incredible performances. As is tradition at Highfields, many of the roles were double or even triple cast, meaning each evening brought something a little different and equally special. Every performance was unique, and audiences were treated to a fresh take on the story each night.

Our talented cast transported the audience to the island of Motunui before setting sail on a magical journey across the Pacific Ocean to restore the heart of the goddess Te Fiti. From powerful vocals to confident acting and dynamic choreography, the students truly brought the story to life.

For many of our performers, this was only their first or second production at Highfields — and what a debut! With so much natural talent on display, alongside hours of hard work and dedication, the future of performing arts at Highfields is certainly bright.

A huge well done to everyone involved — on stage and behind the scenes — for making it such a fantastic start to this half term. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
