Highfields rugby stars dominate Staffordshire Tournament

Special congratulations to Jack Morgan, Stanley Wassell, Amadeusz Kuczynski, and John-Paul Oakley. As well as representing Highfields School in rugby, they also play for Wolverhampton U14 Rugby Club.

On Sunday 19th April, they competed in the Staffordshire final against Tamworth U14 in a match that marked the first time in over a decade that a Wolverhampton team has lifted the cup. It was a hard-fought contest against a strong Tamworth side, with the Wolverhampton team emerging victorious 34–29.

All four students played key roles in this outstanding achievement. This success is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and passion for the sport. Congratulations to them all. Keep up the dedication and enthusiasm for a game in which you’ve already achieved so much.
