Highfields Blooms on Skid Row!
Highfields’ latest production of Little Shop of Horrors was an absolute hit, wowing audiences across four spectacular nights and transforming the stage into the weird and wonderful world of Skid Row.
From the bashful botanist to the devious dentist — and, of course, a perilous, people-eating plant — the show was packed with humour, heart, and just the right amount of horror! Each performance was bursting with energy, showcasing the incredible depth of talent across our school. Many roles were double- and even triple-cast, allowing many of our amazing students to shine under the spotlight and bring their own unique flair to the story.
The production was a true testament to the dedication, creativity, and teamwork that make Highfields’ Performing Arts department so special. Backed by our exceptional live band and supported by a hardworking crew behind the scenes, every detail from the music to the monstrous Audrey II, came together to create a show audiences will never forget.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved — cast, crew, band, and staff — for delivering yet another outstanding production. Skid Row may be a place of misfortune, but for Highfields, it was nothing short of bloomin’ brilliant.
Just remember; don’t feed the plant!!
