Highfields Athletes Achieve in Autumn School Games

As the Autumn term ends, we would like to recognise the commitment, resilience, and enthusiasm shown by our students in Physical Education.

Football
Y7 Boys – Into the Quarter Finals of the Wolverhampton City Cup. League results to date – Lost 1 and Drew 1.

Y7/Y8 Girls – Got to the 2nd round of the County Cup. League starts in Spring term.

Y8 Boys – Got to the 2nd round of County Cup. Next round of the Wolverhampton City Cup to be played.

Y9 Boys – 1 Win and 2 Losses in the League to date.

Y9/10 Girls – Finished 3rd in the league. Into the Semi-Finals of the Wolverhampton City Cup.

Y10 Boys – 2 Wins and 1 Draw in the League. Into the Quarter Finals of the Wolverhampton City Cup.

6th Form – Into Round 2 of the County Cup and Semi Finals of the Wolverhampton City Cup.

A huge congratulations to all our students for their dedication, determination, and positive attitudes. You have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the term, and we are incredibly proud of your efforts.

As we move through the Autumn term, into Spring we look forward to sharing further highlights as our students take part in a vast amount of inter-school School Games competitions, including Football, Futsal, Netball, Rugby, Table Tennis, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball and Sports Hall Athletics.
