Student Recognised for Outstanding Community Contribution
Watching students grow into kind, thoughtful and driven young adults is one of the most rewarding aspects of being part of the Highfields community. Recently, one student has made us particularly proud through his work beyond the classroom.
Kenzie has been selected by Wolverhampton Wanderers Head Coach, Rob Edwards, to take on the role of Community Captain for the ‘Premier League Kicks’ programme.
‘Premier League Kicks’, funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund, is a free initiative designed to engage children and young people from all backgrounds and abilities in regular football activities. The programme plays a vital role in supporting communities and providing positive opportunities for young people.
Kenzie’s selection reflects not only his passion for football, but also his dedication to helping others. Within school, he has already made a meaningful impact by mentoring Year 11 students, demonstrating leadership, responsibility and a genuine commitment to supporting his peers.
It is therefore no surprise to see him extending these qualities into the wider community. His achievement is a wonderful example of the values we strive to nurture at Highfields.
We are incredibly proud of Kenzie and look forward to seeing all he continues to accomplish.
