The Commonwealth Games Spirit Arrives at Highfields!

Excitement is building across the city for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, and we were thrilled to play our part in the Wolverhampton Community Games celebrations!

Highfields was delighted to receive the iconic torch from Pennfields, continuing its journey through schools across Wolverhampton. To mark the occasion, our pupils, staff and wonderful neighbours came together for an afternoon filled with food, music, games and celebration.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate community spirit, friendship and the values of the Commonwealth Games. Our students then proudly continued the torch’s journey by walking it to Springdale Primary, helping to keep the excitement growing throughout the city.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. Together, we're helping to create a real buzz for the Games and showcasing the incredible community spirit that makes Wolverhampton such a fantastic place to live and learn.
